West Ham grab a win at Upton Park

Aston Villa suffered 2-0 defeat by West Ham United on Tuesday after Jordan Ayew's early dismissal as West Ham United enhanced its European prospects  at Upton Park.

Bottom club Villa started brightly, but never recovered from the 17th-minute dismissal of Ghana forward Ayew, who was shown a straight red card for a senseless elbow on Aaron Cresswell.
Michail Antonio found the net with a header in the 58th minute and Cheikhou Kouyate netted late on as Slaven Bilic's side extended its unbeaten run at home in the league to 10 games.
West Ham remains sixth, a point behind fifth-placed Manchester United and six points off the top four, while Villa continues to look doomed, 10 points from safety with only 14 games to play.
