Watford finalises deal for long-term target Mario Suarez from Fiorentina

Watford finally secured the services of Mario Suarez from Fiorentina on Saturday following a drawn-out pursuit which lasted much of the January transfer window.

The midfielder, who's represented Spain three times, signed a deal at Vicarage Road for four-and-a-half years for an undisclosed fee, despite earlier reports speculating his move would just be a loan spell.
Watford is believed to have paid around £4 million for Suarez.
Suarez only moved to Florence last summer, but struggled to recreate the fine form he enjoyed over much of his time with La Liga's Atletico Madrid.
Suarez was unveiled shortly after Watford won 1-0 at Nottingham Forest to secure a spot in the FA Cup fifth round.
